Note: This photo shoot has got to be one of my favorite photo shoots in ANTM history. I absolutely love the concept and the styling on the contestants. A smart move considering what they have pulled off on the previous episode. I have to give credit to where it is due. They really deserve my applaud for this.

Note: Jessica's outfit here is a complete sabotage. Seriously, the way she was styled on this episode was absolutely horrendous. I mean, what's up with those jeans? It's like mom-jeans-meets-12-year-old-hannah-montana-meets-5-year-old-plastic-make-up-set. yeah, something like that. It's just appalling. No wonder Jessica was sent home. That said, despite Jessica's wardrobe malfunction I still (in a heartbeat) would have wanted Tahlia sent home. Tahlia's expressionless and sometimes lifeless face here should have been enough evidence for the judges to send her home, but no, they chose amateur posing over something their stylists have been indifferent to. Cue: lack of judgement song playing.

Note: I don't think that Isabella had the weakest picture in the bunch. I believe that Jessica and Teyona's picture should have been on the bottom two. Really sad to see Isabella go, I believe she could deliver in her photos. I am kinda weary about her being epileptic though, I'm not sure how she would register to the fashion world, the 'real' fashion world, when they would have the slightest clue that she can switch off and twitch any time.

What Happens in Vegas

Photo Shoot: Goddess Profile/Type of Goddess (Casting) 

34 semi-finalists arrived at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they were dressed up as "goddesses" and took a profile shot before showing off their walks. Later that night, Tyra arrived dressed up as the "Goddess of Fierce", and told the models that she was looking for a "successor."

Notable interviews included London revealing that she was a street preacher, Allison admitting that she is fascinated by blood, Tahlia showing her burn scars, Kortnie telling the judges that Dale Earnhardt, Jr. used to be her boyfriend, Kathryn disappointing the panel for not knowing five working models, but then impressing them by citing three designers, and Monique confessing that she was a conspiracy theorist. In between interviews, Angelea revealed she had a daughter who died, and that she slept in the Port Authority Bus Terminal just so she could audition.

Later, a first cut was made, and 21 girls remained, each having to portray a certain goddess. During the shoot, Sandra and Angelea bickered, greatly affecting the latter's performance. Tyra then selected the final 13. When Tyra called the thirteenth girl (Sandra), Sandra bumped Angelea as an act of revenge for messing with her, disappointing the eliminated Angelea even further. (Angelea would audition again in the fourteenth cycle a year later, and was successful in making it to the Top Model house. She also appeared for the 3rd time on the seventeenth cycle.)
